Aku coba di Disdik Riau, katanya mereka tidak punya kewenangan melegalisir. Di Disdik Inhu pun sebelumnya mereka juga jawab seperti itu. Jadi tidak ada alternatif lain. Duh susahnya tinggal di Indonesia .....

Tidak enaknya lagi salah seorang dosen di kampus Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Riau bilang, tahu kamu Dekan itu orang besar. Kenapa tidak dari dahulu-dahulu saja diurus. Kata-kata serupa juga kuterima dari orang Disdik. Duh, padahal kalau ada perang mendadak tidak pernah ada rakyat yang berkata, "Kenapa tidak dari dulu-dulu kami dilatih?"

Alhamdulillah, terhitung mulai tanggal 16-12-2005 saya terdaftar sebagai anggota Indonesian Muslim Blog, komunitas para blogger muslim Indonesia. Dengan bergabung dengan komunitas tersebut maka gerak tangan saya sekarang harus lebih terarah dan membantu tergambarnya Islam sebagai rahmatan lil alamin di dunia maya. Memulung di Tengah Malam

Malam Senin yang lalu saya tidur di rumah teman di dalam kampus Unri Panam. Kondisi rumah tersebut belakangan agak kurang aman. Baru saja beberapa hari yang lalu ada percobaan pencurian HP saat pemilik HP sedang melakukan shalat Subuh. Dan di rumah sebelahnya ada 3 HP yang berhasil digondol maling.

Jam 3 malam lewatlah seorang pemulung yang membawa sepeda dilengkapi peralatan pemulungannya. Saat itu ada seorang teman yang duduk di pintu. Pemulung ini menyapa. Dan kami pun segera keluar. Ditanyakan kepadanya kenapa memulung di tengah malam? Alasannya takut kedahuluan. Lalu dikatakan, sampah-sampah biasanya baru dibuang pagi hari. Jadi apa yang sebenarnya dipulung?

Salah seorang kemudian memeriksa keranjang. Ditemukan linggis, tank dan obeng-obeng. Ketika ditanyakan dikatakannya semuanya barang hasil temuan. Akhirnya pemulung tersebut ditahan. Seorang teman memanggil pak RT. Tetapi pak RTnya sedang ke Bukittinggi. Lalu dipanggil pak polisi. Pemulung berikut sepeda dan barang-barangnya dibawa ke rumah pak polisi.

Di tempat pak polisi, pemulung tersebut dimintai KTP. Dengan alasan baru sebulan di Pekanbaru dan untuk mengurus KTP katanya memakan biaya Rp. 300.000,00 maka dia mengatakan belum punya. Akhirnya diambil kesepakatan untuk menahan sepeda dan barang-barangnya.

Jam 8.00 pagi pemulung itu datang bersama temannya yang memiliki identitas. Sepeda dan semua barangnya akhirnya dikembalikan. Tidak ada bukti memang walau sangat mencurigakan. Sayang, seandainya tidak ada orang yang keluar saat itu, apakah yang terjadi?

Indonesia Berapa Propinsi

Penasaran ingin tahu berapa jumlah Propinsi di Indonesia. Saya coba cari-cari tahu di www.indonesia.go.id. Sekilas penampilan web sudah jauh lebih bagus daripada zaman-zaman dahulu. Tetapi bagaimana dengan isinya?

Saya navigasi bagian Pemerintah Daerahnya. Beberapa Propinsi baru seperti Bangka, Kepulauan Riau, Banten, Irian Jaya Barat sudah didata. Tetapi jangankan untuk melihat adanya propinsi Sulawesi Barat yang baru, Sulawesi Selatan dan Sumatera Barat saja tidak ada. Apakah kedua propinsi tersebut tidak resmi bagian Indonesia?

Bung Karno Dalang Kudeta

Menulis buku yang menentang arus memang berat. Apalagi tentang seseorang yang menjadi panutan, seperti Bung Karno. Prof Antonie CA Dake dalam bukunya dalam buku karangannya Soekarno File menyimpulkan yang memprakarsai ‘’Kudeta Untung’’ 1 Oktober 1965 itu adalah mantan Presiden Soekarno sendiri. Bantahan yang masuk akal dilontarkan sang putri Sukmawati. Tidak mungkinkan seorang Presiden yang berkuasa, kemudian mengkudeta dirinya untuk menjatuhkan dirinya. Tetapi seperti yang dinyatakan Dake juga masuk akal bahwa kudeta ini didasarkan atas penolak para pimpinan TNI tentang pembentukan Angkatan ke V.
Dake juga menyatakan bahwa tindakan ini juga dilatarbelakangi kesukaan Soekarno mengadu domba AD dengan PKI. Seperti kita ketahui keberhasilan Soekarno mempertahankan kedudukannya pada dasarnya adalah karena persaingan di antara kekuatan-kekuatan politik yang ada saat itu yang cenderung seimbang. Tindakan Soekarno membubarkan Masyumi misalnya didukung atau sekurang-kurangnya dibiarkan NU yang menjadi saingannya. Demikian pula pembubaran Murba didukung PKI yang menjadi rivalnya. Dengan demikian Soekarno menjadi satu-satunya kekuatan penyeimbang.

Pengusaha dan Profesional

Perbedaan terbesar antara pengusaha dan profesional adalah perfeksionisme. Profesional cenderung bersifat perfeksionis, sementara pengusaha lebih cenderung praktis. Profesional merasa bersalah apabila menerima upah dari pekerjaan yang menurut mereka belum cukup memenuhi standar, sementara pengusaha akan sangat bahagia dapat menjual barang rongsokan.

Keduanya, profesional dan pengusaha bisa sama-sama menjadi orang kaya. Kedua-duanya juga merupakan suatu simbiosis mutualisme yang baik. Keduanya bisa menjadi orang-orang yang paling bahagia sekaligus mungkin orang yang terpenjara karir atau bisnisnya. Tetapi profesional lebih cenderung cepat sakit jantung apabila tiba-tiba kliennya merasa tidak puas. Ke arah mana yang akan kita tempuh?
